The National Resistance Movement has today confirmed the dates on which it will be hosting its national delegates conference with the party’s deputy secretary general confirming that the conference will be starting on 30th October till 2nd November 2015 at Namboole and Kololo respectively.
Addressing journalists at the party headquarters today, The deputy secretary general, Hon. Richard Todwong, states that the conference slated to attract over 30,000 delegates will elect new national office bearers and also to receive and elect the NRM presidential flag bearer for 2016.
Among the eligible members to attend the two conferences are, NRM historicals, women, youth elders, PWDs, workers, entrepreneurs, veterans, NEC members, MPs, EALA, among others. The party has also extended invites to IPOD members and sister and brother political parties from regional member states.
However, the party is free and open to the attendance of their former secretary general, Rt. Hon. Amama Mbabazi who is ready to face off with his former boss in the 2016 general elections.
