The first prime minister and minister of East Affairs Ali Kirunda Kivejinja has warned the young generation against involving themselves in corruption scandals. He made the remarks while officiating at the international Anti-corruption week at the CHOGM grounds in Kampala. He said that the youth can live longer and gain wealth without being corrupt. He also warned the young generation against demanding much from the old public servants so as they are not tempted to steal public funds to satisfy the demands.
The Auditor General John Muwanga says that the Auditor general’s new reports will simplify the work of members of parliament on the accountability committees since the reports will be highlighting the government agencies which are highly abusing public funds in red colour .
