The Chairperson of NRM in Kween District, also Kween County MP Abdi Fadhil Kisos Chemaswet, says he supports the actions of people of Sebei sub Region in Kween district in walking away from the President Museveni Campaign rally recently in Kween and Bukwo district over claims that he made empty promises to construct bridges and roads in the area. Chemaswet said that the president should not be surprised that people in Sebei sub region are running from him for other candidates because they see hope in them.He said that the people are angry that the president did not fulfill the pledges he made in 2011 which include construction of bridges, roads , schools, among others. He continued that things are not good for the president in Sebei sub region and that is why he had to bring in the vice president of Kenya William Ruto to talk to the people in this sub region to vote the president.
Chemaswet has now reportedly crossed to the Go-forward camp of the former Prime Minister John Patrick Amama Mbabazi after losing in the NRM party primaries
