NRM parliamentary flag bearers who lost in the just concluded 2016 general polls are calling for an agent meeting with the party chairperson president Museveni, who doubles as the 2016 presidential party flag bearer to iron out some hard issues to have a smooth run of the party in this term.

The over 87 losers flanked by their interim committee chaired by Ssekabira James former contestant for Nakaseke and Harman Ssentongo former Masaka municipality contestant on NRM ticket are of the view that the president meets them to discuss issues raising dust mentioning irregularities by the electoral commission, influence by security forces, in-fights within party members against the flag bearers, mis-coordination, among others are being considered by the group that are still a huge challenge to the party and risk having the party lose its grounds come the next polls in 2021.

The members are now seeking for a meeting to come up with the final position of the party on the electoral outcomes that they will push down to their electorates.
