Newly elected Kampala woman MP Hon. Nabilah Nagayi Ssempala has vowed to exhibit more acts before the polls commission and the state until they come out clear on their plan to oust her from her parliamentary post and the councilors in Kampala. Nabilah accompanied by some councilors this morning stormed the commission offices to have a chat with the commission chairman Eng. Badru Kigundu over the matter which Nabilah says the commission has out rightly dumped its independence and connived with the state to take away people’s power something she says will not be accepted and at this point there was a thorough exchange of words with the security at the commission which never wanted her to access the premises.
She further says that such illegal acts are manifesting that affirmative action under the NRM regime has been dealt away with, mainly in Kampala where the opposition has over time gained over whelming fame. One of the councilors from Kawempe, Muhammed Segirinya condemns the president for wanting to exhibit maximum dictatorship as now he wants to forcefully take over power from the citizens which they are not willing to accept.
