The Government of Uganda has appealed to many unqualified Ugandans and senior six leavers to take advantage of their work to upgrade and get qualified so as to work comfortably to avoid loosing jobs. As part of the new measures, government-owned Makerere University Business school has set up special programs that will enable senior six leavers and many of unqualified Ugandans attain advanced qualifications by upgrading and being qualified.
The open week rans from 24th to the 28th of this month.
Peter Odoki the P.R.O Makerere University Business school explains that as a tentative measure the university has set up an open week starting today to assist S 6 leavers and the public on how to apply for key courses in government universities. Odoki says the University has set up programes where S6 leavers can up grade to higher levels to avoid cases of many people loosing jobs because of being unqualified.
