East African Police Chiefs have met in Kampala together with their Italian counterpart who will share policing capabilities in the partner organisations in order to enhance cooperation in combating criminal activities.
According to the police spokesperson, Andrew Felix Kaweesi, Commander General, Francisco Ratta, will tour different police facilities including the Police Command & Staff College at Bwebajja along Entebbe Road.
He adds that all police chiefs under the East African Police Chief’s Cooperation are expected here to share policing capabilities and sign a memorandum of understanding with Italian police authorities.
He says the move is intended to harmonize police capabilities across the East African region.
