Liverpool booked a place in the fourth round of the FA Cup draw with a narrow 1-0 win over Plymouth on 18th January, 2017.
Jurgen Klopp’s side made a trip to Home Park after they were held to a frustrating goalless draw in the initial meeting between the two at Anfield.
Lucas Leiva scored for Liverpool helping Liverpool to a win against League two side Plymouth.
Lucas’ goal was his first in a space of seven years with the Merseyside club set for a home tie against Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers on 28th January.
“It’s that long? I scored last week in training,” Lucas said after the game.
Meanwhile, Southampton beat Norwich one nil to set up an all-Premier League fourth-round clash with the Arsenal.
Newcastle defeated Birmingham 3-1 in their replay at St James’ Park to earn a tie against Oxford United, completing the fourth-round draw.
