The former landlord of the late Whitney Houston is selling her bible for $95,000. I Wanna Dance with Somebody left the holy book behind when she moved out of her luxury Newport Beach rental in 2011, and now the former property owner is putting the item on the market.

The property man revealed in a letter that he found the bible in a box with some clothes and CDs by the bin after Whitney moved out. He revealed that he did try to contact the singer’s agent at the time regarding the left items, but was told: ‘Keep it if you want.’

The man – whose identity is not known – ‘threw everything away except the bible because he thought it was interesting’ and sold the home in 2012. And although $95,000 seems like a hefty price, the former home owner believes he will fetch the figure as Whitney’s handwriting is all over the pages.
Pictures obtained show the I Will Always Love You singer document important dates such as her marriage to Robert B. Brown in 1992 and the birth of their now late daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown on March 4, 1993.

Whitney passed away in February 2012 after accidentally drowning in a bath at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The official coroner’s report stated that they found cocaine, marijuana and prescription medication in her system.
