Makerere University scientist, Dr. Moses Kiiza Musaazi, who invented the first enviromental friendly pads, Maka pads has died.
Musaazi is also the inventor of the MakaStove, a pocket friendly stove that can save up to 50% of fuel compared to others in the market.
Makerere vice-chancellor, Prof. Barnabas Nawangwe describes the fallen don as one of the “most illustrious academics” the university ever had.
In a tweet on Tuesday, Nawangwe described the deceased as the “most illustrious academics” that the mighty institute has ever had.
