Tottenham Hotspur and England midfielder Dele Alli has put a pen on paper by extending his contract till 2024. The new contract will see him double his current pay rise from £50,000-per-week to £100,000.
“I’ve loved my time at Spurs so far,” Alli said on Instagram. “I’m very excited to see what the future holds.”
He joined the North Londoners in 2015 from MK Dons making his full debut at 16 in November 2012.Since then, Alli has netted 48 goals in 153 games for Tottenham Hotspur.
Ali was also named the PFA Young Player of the Year in each of his first two Spurs seasons.He also won the 2015-16 Premier League goal of the season with his stunning volley against Crystal Palace.
Delle reached the World Cup semi-final with England and even scored in the quarterfinals against Sweden.
England Captain Harry Kane is the leading salary earner in Spurs with a bumper pay of £200,000 a week.
Christian Eriksen and Toby Alderweireld are the next to have their contracts extended.
