The People’s Development Party (PDP) President, Abed Bwanika has called for his colleagues in opposition to reconcile with government.
While at the swearing-in ceremony of President Museveni at Kololo airstrip on May 12, 2011, Bwanika said that his counterparts in opposition should accept that every government must be with a president.
He asked other leaders of the opposition political parties to come to the round table with President Museveni and devise means of developing the country than keeping in accusations and counter accusations.
Bwanika is the only former presidential candidate among the 7 candidates who contested against Museveni in the February 18 presidential elections who attended the swearing-in ceremony. The PDP boss polled only 51,708 (0.65%.)
