The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) party president Kiiza Besigye has asked the people to continue with the walk to work protests against the escalating prices of food and fuel.
In his brief speech to thousands of his supporters at Nsanbya play ground on May 12, Dr. Besigye said that people should walk to work on Monday and asked them not to get tired of walking until government sorts out the problem of high prices of commodities.
The FDC boss arrived in Uganda today after spending two weeks in Kenya while undergoing treatment at Nairobi Hospital after the government security personnel brutalized him in the walk to work protest on April 28.
Besigye was making his first address to his supporters before he proceeded to his home in Kasangati.
