The national female youth MP Monica Amoding has pledged to work with the 9th parliament to make sure that issues affecting the youth are given priority.
She made the pledge immediately after being swoon in on Monday at parliament. She said the youth are the majority in the country and therefore they should be given priority.
Amoding pointed out the issues to consider as education, improving curriculum, job creation and national leadership.
She also said that the youth are divided and therefore they need to join hands and work for the development of uganda.
The swearing in ceremony which begun on Monday will last for three days and will see 375 MPs being sworn in as members of the 9th parliament.
