Kibuku MP Kamba Saleh and Bukoto South MP Mbabaali Muyanja to lose ministeries over academic papers

The Kibuku County and Bukoto South Members of Parliament Saleh Kamba and Mbabaali Muyanja respectively are bound to lose their ministerial appointments over lack of genuine academic documents.

On scrutinizing the academic papers for the duo on June 1, the parliament appointments committee found that the documents were wanting and more time was required to verify with the Uganda National Examination Board.

For Kamba, the problem was not only on the papers presented but also on the petition that had been got from an outsider asking the committee to block him due to his forgery of the academic papers.

If the Uganda National Examination Board confirms the status quo, Kamba and Mbabaali will join the former Mayor Naser Sebagala and Henry Muganwa Kajura who were also blocked from taking the Ministry without Portfolio and Ministry of Public Service respectively. Sebagala was disqualified on moral grounds and poor English language while for Kajura it was due to advanced age.
