Authorities from the ministry of health partnering with other health service quality assurance professional bodies  again raided and closed a number of privately owned clinics in and around Kampala over a number of irregularities.

The operation covering all the five City Divisions has left City Medicals Clinic Bukoto and UCRM clinic along Bukoto Kisasi Road among others closed.

These have been operating without operational license and fully registered health practitioners according to Dr Margret Mungerera from the association of Uganda Medical and dental practitioners.

She has explained that this is aimed at saving the public from the likely dangers of getting treatment from Quake health practitioners and not sabotage.
