General Caleb Akandwanaho alias Salim Saleh has said he will talk to the leader of the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC), Dr. Kiiza Besigye to negotiate how the country can be developed peacefully.
Saleh says that Besigye should not have resorted to protests to address the problem of high commodity prices adding that Besigye would have talked to the right forums to address the issue.
Saleh says Besigye is a good articulate he could not have failed to convince the government to address the current economic problem.
He adds that Besigye must be having a permanent health defect suffered during the protests according to the brutality the security operatives meted on him. He says he feels so sorry such to happen to his former bush war colleague like Besigye.
Although Saleh regrets what occurred on Besigye during the protests, he says had he been in command of the anti-riot forces it would have been worse. He says he has a weakness of intolerance and impatience.
