Preparations are in high gear for the 18^th coronation of the Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Mwenda Mutebi II due 31^st July 2011 in Kasanganti Kyadondo County.

The coronation organizing committee chairperson also doubles as the Buganda Minister for environment and agricultures Lutaya Mukomazi says celebrations to mark the Kabaka coronation anniversary will kick-start with prayers.

He says prayers will first be held in mosques on 22^nd for July followed by prayers in the Adventist churches in the 23^rd of July and on the 24^th will see Catholics and Protestants hold prayers as part of celebrations to mark this year’s coronation anniversary.

Lutaya notice that on the 30^th Buganda Kingdom will hold a fundraising drive that will see the Kingdom rise funds to run the Kabaka’s foundation and 31^st it will be the main event.
