Police in Entebbe on Thursday morning impounded two trucks of immature fish being transported to a yet unknown place in Kampala for sell.
According to the state minister for fisheries, Ruth Nankabirwa, the trucks were heading to Kampala from a landing site near Entebbe International Air port.
Addressing the media in Kampala, Nankabirwa said that the trucks have been taken to the agriculture ministry headquarters as investigations into the matter continues.
Nankabirwa says last week her office impounded a truck carrying immature fish to the Democratic Republic of Congo.
She adds that the exercise is to continue to get rid of all illegal fish dealers and the exercise is to be conducted throughout the different parts of the country
