Makindye Division is to launch an operation in the division to close all video halls which hide students who fail to go to school because they are watching videos.

This was revealed by the secretary for Games and sports Makindye Division Huruna Namabale while officiating at Emirates college school sports day celebration in katwe which was won by Green house.

Nambala said that many students who are sent by their parents to school end up in video halls. Nambale attributed this as one of issue which has caused school drop out in the school within Makindye.

He also threatened to deal with schools which have no sports programme that develop the students talent.
