The Indian community living in Lubaga led by the area MP, Singh Katongole has donated items worth three million shillings to the hungry people.

Singh says that the Indians have a duty of feeding the poor during this month of Ramadan according to Islamic calendar.

He says that the Indians have contributed this ‘little’ to show the people of Kampala that they love them.

The donation was handled over to the area LCI leaders and some councilors.

Singh says he wants the items to go to the most vulnerable people especially the widows, people with disabilities and elderly who don’t have money to buy food for two meals a day.
