FDC calls for Museveni resignation

The Opposition Forum for Democratic Change has urged President Museveni to consider resigning over his failure to control the state.

The Deputy Publicity secretary of FDC Toterebuka Bamwenda says that the sky rocketing inflation in the country is a clear indication of the President’s failure to control the state.

According to the report by the Uganda National Bureau of standards, Uganda’s inflation is currently at 21.4%, the highest since 1993.

Bamwenda says that President Museveni withdrew money from the National reserve and financed his campaigns and personal needs, a thing he well knew would cause economic disgrace.

Bamwenda further says that President Museveni is not patriotic enough because if he had been one, he would have found alternative solutions to the problem by now.
