The spokesperson of DP, Kenneth Paul Kakande is too busy nowadays because his walking up and down leveling grounds for his girl friend, Brenda Nabukenya to win Luweero district MP elections.

Nabukenya is set to contest for Luweero woman MP on the Democratic Party Ticket.

The seat went vacant after the High Court nullified the election victory of Ms Rebecca Lukwago on grounds of election irregularities.

However Brenda’s candidature have divided the leadership of DP with some calling for party primaries. This is because Kakande has reportedly used his muscle in the Democratic Party to front his girl friend Brenda yet there were other women who expressed to be considered to run for the same post.

Kakande has however rubbished all claims that Brenda has been fronted because she is his girlfriend. He says that Brenda was considered for the post because during the last February parliamentary polls, she participated in Katikamu north and nearly defeated NRM’s Ibrahim Byandala.
