Former Lands minister, Omara Atubo is soon going to East African Legislative Assembly if all political factors remain constant.

Sources say that the government wants to take him to Arusha because the former minister is currently broke after losing his re-election bid as MP in Acholi sub region.

We have heard that president Museveni has already thrown his political weight behind the former minister, Omara Atubo.

The president wants to reward him for his decision to join NRM after defecting from UPC. Sources say that Atubo is credited by Museveni because he joined NRM unlike his counterparts like Cecilia Ogwal who left UPC and joined FDC.

We further hear that the government wants to give Atubo a political post such that it wins NRM support in the north.
