An envoy of European Union who is on his two day state visit toUgandahas asked the government ofUgandato always take human rights as a top most priority to respect.

We are told that Westcott discussed with Museveni and Rebecca Kadaga issues about economic growth, human rights violations, political dialogue and environment protection among other things.

Westcott has visitedUgandaat a time when the country is being blamed internationally over the government’s disrespect of human rights.Ugandagovernment brutally clamped down opposition inspired protests against high cost of living and in the process the police and other military organs reportedly killed unarmed civilians including a babe in Masaka.
