Obesity can be prevented in many ways. Limit sedentary activities, discourage snacking or eating while watching TV, include starchy foods on de menu.
Eat plenty of fibre-rich foods, and eat less fried foods and sweets. Reduce sugary drinks, and watch the portion of meals and snacks. Also reduce or stop giving sugary drinks, snacks and meals to your children.
The doctors also add on that it is advisable to encourage in active pray or exercises.
