Dangers of eating 100% ghee

Eshabwe: It is a rich, creamy and thick sauce that is a delicacy among the Banyankole (Uganda’s ruling tribe).

It is prepared using raw cow ghee, rock salt and some very cool water. Eshabwe is taken as a sauce, preferable with millet bread, matooke (bananas) or potatoes.

The problem is that its 100% fat, with very high cholesterol level which makes it a very dangerous food and this causes blockage in the blood veins and arteries.

Eating eshabwe may cause high blood pressure, obesity, stroke and other related heart diseases.

Further note that the fact it is prepared using raw ghee,  and unboiled water also puts one at risk of contacting diseases like, Brucellosis and water born diseases such as  dysentery, cholera, and typhoid.
