The DP candidate in Bukoto South parliamentary by elections, Mathias Nsubuga who also doubles as the DP secretary General, seems to be in the driving seat of the Bukoto South by election campaigns having received a back up from Buganda kingdom.

The development comes in after NRM endorsed Alintuma Nsambu as the candidate for the same seat, who Buganda sees as an enemy for having un-respected the Kabaka of Buganda, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II during the Bugerere saga.

It is believed that it was Alintuma Nsambu during the time he was an IT minister who advised the government to close radio CBS and he went on to attack the Buganda (Mengo) institution openly by saying that ‘the Kabaka was a man like him and that he had everything that the Kabaka also had as a man.’

And now Mengo has assigned the team of its top radicals in the names of Mathias Mpuuga, Betty Nambooze, Moses Kasibante, Muwanga Kivumbi, MedarLubega Seggona and Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago to crush Alintuma Nsambu and his NRM ruling system in Bukoto South elections.
