Causes of Gallbladder problems are drugs, such as oral contraceptives and synthetic hormone replacement and some cholesterol-lowering drugs, race (more common in women of north America, Indian ethnicity), obesity, rapid weight loss, constipation, western diet (high in saturated fats, low fibre, alcohol), food allergies/sensitivities (root cause for gallbladder attacks), positive family history, increased risk from digestive track diseases, such as crone.
