The battle for the soul of Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) leaders, Maj. Gen. Mugisha Muntu and Budadiri west MP Nandala Mafabi has now reached final stages.
Both party stalwarts are generals in the political liberation struggle of Uganda and fight to restore civil liberties, norms and virtues. In Mugisha Muntu, FDC has a military general who risked everything including his life in fighting the Uganda Peoples Congress (UPC) government that had reportedly stolen the 1980 elections.
Equally in MP Nandala-Mafabi, FDC and Uganda has a general who risked everything including his own life in putting up his very own body as a human shield to defend and fight selflessly and corruption to ensure the will of voters in Eastern Uganda is not stolen at all cost in his own constituency in Feb 2011 elections.
Both Mugisha Muntu and Nandala Mafabi are indeed living with painful wounds inflicted onto them by live bullets from the late Milton Obote and president Museveni’s regimes of reported anarchy and terror.
These two brave and patriotic politicians are struggling to be entrusted with the FDC Presidency and ultimately Ugandan Presidency come 2016. In your opinion whom should we support?
