Prof. Ddumba ssentamu (economics) has been chosen by Makerere University council as best for the university’s vice chancellor.

Prof. Ddumba was closely followed by prof. Nawangwe. Ddumba’s name, together with that of prof. Nawangwe will now be forwarded by the university council to the chancellor of Makerere University, prof. Mondo Kagonyera for approval.

Prof. Ddumba was chosen best nominee in a closed meeting today in Makerere University council room.

Prof. Mondo will appoint one of the two council appointees. The professors who were in the race for the vice chancellor included Professors: Nawangwe (Technology), Ddumba (Economics) and Kirumira (social sciences).
