Farmers from different parts of the country are calling on govt to consider expediting the passing of the ecological organic farming policy to help regulate the sector as well as the activity in the country.

Farmer who have been speaking at the global green action week where they have been discussing the national policy on ecological organic agriculture were wondering why govt is moving very fast on bio safety bill and leaving behind the organic farming policy.

But the director crop production and marketing in the ministry of agriculture, Alex Lwakaba assures farmers that the draft policy is done and only waits cabinet approval but exhibited massive support for the presence and importance of the policy in the country.Cue.Alex.Eng&Lug.
