The Minister for Local government Adolf Mwesigye decries the persisted flowing of substandard goods on the market despite the different mechanisms put in place to fight such goods.
This at a press conference held at Media Center in Kampala while announcing the coming dialogue for Mayors’ from China, East African community , Southern Sudan, Ethiopia and Democratic Republic of Congo due 21st-22nd November.
He says in this meeting, the participants are to dialogue on how cooperation and business can be promoted amongst these countries with the aim of achieving development.
Mwesigwa says now that Uganda is still growing, it needs concerted efforts to support the institutions put to fight the many counterfeit goods that are putting the lives of Ugandans at risk.
