With the real estate business gaining much momentum and realizing faster growth in the country as witnessed with new mushrooming real estate agencies, there is need to regulate the industry to save the players and their clients from cheating among other un professional and un ethical conducts from taking center stage in this business.

Speaking to the president of the association of real estate agents-Uganda, Nicolas Arinaitwe, he castigates the current way real estate is managed where many clients are cheated by developers as well as clients cheating the developers causing disharmony in the industry and fears among the buyers and sellers of property .

He says that the absence of this regulation has caused chaos in the industry.

He notes that they are in high levels of formulating a draft bill, real estate bill 2013 with the ministry of lands, housing and urban development that will bring sanity in the industry
