Signs and symptoms of sinusitis

 

We recently told you that Sinusitis comes from the Latin word ‘sinuo’ which means “to bend, wind, curve”, and in Greek its meaning “is to pertain”.
Acute Sinusitis signs and symptoms: If the person living with sinusitis has two or more of these symptoms: thick, green or yellow nasal discharge, that person may be diagnosed with ACUTE SINUSITIS.

Other symptoms of s Signs and symptoms of sinusitis are facial pain and pressure, blocked nose, nasal discharge, poor sense of smell, congestion and cough.
These Signs and symptoms of sinusitis may also be present: a high temperature, halitosis (bad breath), tiredness, toothache. Note that sub acute sinusitis may have symptoms of acute or chronic sinusitis.
