Mps have blocked the move by the executive to stay debate on the report that investigated the irregularities in power sector.
This came after the speaker had called report on the irregularities in power sector and the Deputy leader of Government business General Moses Ali told mps that government needed time to discuss the report in cabinent before its debated by MPS .
MPS , Theodro Sekikubo, Emanuel Dombo, Jack Wamai wamanga and Richard Sebuliba said that the executive cannot stay the work of parliament because are different Arms of government.
MPS wondered how the government wants to stay the debate on the power sector report yet the report has been available for almost eight months which forced the deputy leader of government business Moses Ali to concead.
The speaker of parliament Rebecca Kadaga said that there was no justification to stay the debate on the irregularities in power sector.
