Museveni calls Sejusa back home

In an interview with one of the foreign journalists in 1993, president Museveni put it categorically that he did not need and would not miss knowledgeable and experienced Ugandans living in exile to participate in national reconstruction.
The president further advised Ugandans in exile to stay in the diaspora earn income and send some of it to Uganda for their families. Museveni has indeed used many of former high profile Ugandans in exile as advisers and experts.
Museveni prefers to be tutored by foreigners than Ugandans. However, while foreign experts mean well for Uganda, their advice usually falls short because they are not well informed about Uganda’s issues.
