Besigye speaks on Lukwago’s removal

Former President General of Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) Col. Dr. Kizza Besigye has described Kampala Minister Frank Tumwebaze as a peasant boy who came the other day to Kampala.

The colonel says that the minister’s parents do not know how to pay school fees. Besigye says that Tumwebaze has been on state house scholarship since he joined school.

“Now he thinks by being minister in a military government (National Resistance Movement Organisation government) he has become a soldier…where they use decrees,” Besigye said and added.

“Disobeying court is like injecting a dead body with medicine thinking it will come back to like. They are passing time.” The minister on Monday rejected a court order that was stopping him from removing Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago from office.

Besigye says that if the government is doing right…the report that recommended for Lukwago’s removal was supposed to be discussed after 14 days that was given to Hon Erias Lukwago to respond.
