The name Andrew Mwenda needs no introduction in the Republic of Uganda and Rwanda. The latest news we have got from Kigali has it that Rwandan president Paul Kagame stopped him from visiting Kigali anymore because he spied him and took his secrets to president Museveni.

Kagame, we are told he is furious, because Mwenda, a notable and famous Ugandan journalist, took his money sometime back, after promising to promote him in the media and later abandoned the role to serve president Museveni’s interests.

According to sources, Kagame calls Mwenda a hypocrite and a bad man who is usually bought to do anything irrespective of the out come.

Museveni recently bought Mwenda to head his Public Relations on TVs and some radios.

Mwenda who sometime back had a love-hate relationship with Museveni is now a close ally of Museveni and the head of his media strategy.
