Up to 24 European Master in Vision and Robotics Scholarships of 42, 000 euros (covering the 2 years of studies) are available.
The European Masters in Computer Vision and Robotics (VIBOT),is a collaboration between the Universitat de Girona (Spain), the Université de Bourgogne (France) and Heriot Watt University (Scotland).
The master course aims to provide qualifications for entry into the professions in the area of robotics, computer vision, image processing and medical imaging either in public laboratory or private research company.
Scholarship Application Criteria & Requirements
Outstanding achievement in the applicant’s first degree which must have equivalent to UK First Class in either electrical engineering, electronics, computer science, mathematics, robotics, physics and industrial engineering.
Language ability: the course is taught in English and candidates must meet the required standards TOEFL: 550 (Computer: 213) or IETS: 6.5.
Student motivation to undertake the Masters and relevance to his orher professional development.
The documentation required is as follows:
· Letter of application outlining rationale for wanting to undertake the programme
· Curriculum vitae
· Certified copy of the University Bachelor Degree (equivalent to a UK 1st class Honors Bachelor degree) or equivalent with records transcript (English translation)
· Proof of level of competency in English
· 2 names of referees and their addresses, preferably from the University or Institute that awarded the first degree, whom will be contacted by the consortium (referees will have to fill and send us an evaluation form like this one: PDF )
Administrative papers: a copy of a valid ID document and passport.
