Col. Kizza Besigye, who is the former president general of Uganda’s opposition party, the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC), has praised Uganda Police’s new approach on opposition rallies.
Uganda opposition parties are currently moving around the country sensitizing the masses about the need for the government of Uganda to hold free and fair elections.
Speaking at the UPC headquarters in Kampala, Besigye urged police and government of president Museveni to continue with the new policy of non-interference as a tool for achieving democratic dispensation in the country.
Besigye traces the new police approach on opposition rallies from the meeting that opposition leaders had with the police.
