Major Herbert Muramagi threatens to commit scuide

Embattled Major Herbert Muramagi, facing charges of conduct prejudicial to good order and discipline before the general court martial in Makindye has reportedly threatened to commit scuide and leave president Museveni’s government in peace.

The development arose after the General Court Martial remanded Major Herbert Muramagi for a 3rd time after the state said it had not completed investigations.

Sources told one of our reporters that Major Herbert Muramagi is being persecuted because he has links with Gen. David Sejusa who went to exile after being witchunted reportedly by Kampala government.

The same sources further told us in Makindye that Major Herbert Muramagi is tired of this torture and he has already threatened to end his life if the state continues using the court martial to infringe on his freedom. The sources also allege that the state directed Major Herbert Muramagi’s friends Maj. Aguma Hatega, Maj. Were Melkzadeck, Maj. Charles Ndawula and Maj. Jackson Kakuru who wanted to stand surety for him never to do so.
The State alleges that, Muramagi, with others still at large, plotted to kill his superiors between May 2013 and February 2014.

Major Herbert Muramagi was remanded up to April 27th by the Army   Court chairman, Brig. Moses Ssentongo.
