People with disabilities under their umbrella body, NUDIPU are decrying the poor budgetary funding which they say has stagnated the running of their programmees and hence leaving them neglected.
According to the national chairman, NUDIPU, Henry Nyombi, the special group has no idea about what the budget cycle entails as they only come to here and ready about what has been allocated to their sector which they say is very little and has caused no significant change to them.
They cite the poor funding in the special needs education and health which has seen clients not get better services just like other people in the country.
The finance minister will soon be reading the budget this month for the financial year 2014/15 and NUDIPU is waiting to hear whether they will have increased funding for their laying ministry.
