Museveni asks African leaders to guard against European desires to recolonise Africa

President Museveni has called upon Africans to remain united if they are to overcome continental challenges like conflicts, unemployment, poverty and possible recolonisation of African states.

Addressing millions of pilgrims at the famous martyrs Shrine, Namugongo-Kampala, Museveni pledged for Uganda’s continued support to the Catholic Church.

Museveni also asked African leaders to love their neighbouring countries. He says African countries need to unit in case of foreign invasion. Museveni says during the colonial era, the Europeans managed to defeat Africans because they found them disunited.
