Considering the ongoing East African integration process that seeks to enhance trade and movement of citizens across the East African region, Russia is now ready to do business with East African countries of Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania.
Dr Andrey Polyakov, the Russian envoy in East Africa says the East African integration is a sure way to increase East African’s capacity to trade with countries outside the region such as Russia.
Dr Andrey Polyakov says East African region stands a chance to do business with Russia following the integration process because of better movement of goods and services across countries.
Dr Andrey says it is easier for Russia to do trade ties with East African countries because of the improved infrastructure and networks that provide access to labours in East Africa.
