General Aronda Nyakairima, the internal affairs minister has said his ministry has so far registered four million people across the country.
The minister says the internal affairs ministery targets to register 18 million Ugandan voters who are aged 16 and above. He also adds that all districts now have the enrolment equipment. While speaking at the registration headquarters in Kololo, the minister issued a stern warning to all local leaders asking for bribes in order to issue registration papers or LC identification to use in the on-going ID process.
