Government says mengo government got genuine land titles

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has distanced himself from the circulating hot rumor that government could have duped Mengo government and gave them nonexistent or fake land titles recently.
The president has told the press while at his country home in Rwakitura last night that he got no knowledge to that effect and described such as hot rumor.
He says that the concern authorities should contact the ministry of lands not him because he doesn’t keep land titles.
The president has further urged cultural leaders especially those in areas with a diversity of cultures to often foster unity of all people or else the loose the intentions for which traditional institutions were established.
Museveni has been speaking in response to the action By Tooro King Oyo who has staged a hunger strike until the president returns the kingdoms properties.

President Yoweri Museveni also wants reforms in the electoral system to have electronic voting to minimize rigging in the 2016 general elections.
Museveni says there elements who manipulate the current electoral system.
