It seems the Islamic teachings that bar women from leading prayers amidst the presence of men are soon coming to an end. There is a woman in the New York who runs a mosque. This woman is the imam at one of the mosques in the New York.

She leads the prayers, and is the leader of the Friday khutbah (prayers) as well and she allows men and women to pray next to each other.

The New York City is also becoming funy. There is another masjid/ mosque down the streets of New York where the imam reportedly marries homosexuals.

He holds the Holy Quran whenever he goes to the mosque to marry homosexuals.

But the Holy Quran bars women from being imams. The quran shows that if there is a man / men, women can not pray at the same line with men!!
