The Ugandan Embassy in South Sudan and the UPDF High Command in South Sudan have urged Ugandans doing business in Juba to avoid dangerous sports in South Sudan provinces.

The UPDF leadership in South Sudan and the Ugandan Embassy in South Sudan has issued a security advisory to all Ugandans especially the business committee urging them to take necessary measures to avoid danger while traveling the South Sudan.

In a Joint news statement issued through the Uganda Media Centre in Kampala today indicates that since early June this year business communities plying the Yei – Yambio, Yambio and Wau road in South Sudan have registered incidents of armed robberies including theft of goods in transit and torching of their vehicles.

But many Ugandans keep on wondering what the Ugandan soldiers are still doing in South Sudan.
