Salva Kiir explains why he can not quit South Sudan presidency?

The regime in South Sudan is explaining to the international community that President Salva Kiir “cannot step down” as the South Sudan rebels led by Dr. Riek Machar demands.

The South Sudan vice president, James Wani Igga says that Kiir told his cabinent that the demand by rebels to have him resign the office of the president is unrealistic because it has never happened anywhere in the world.

President Kiir is now requesting president Museveni of Uganda since he is a friend to Americans to explain to UN and the United States of America that the rebels in South Sudan control 10 per cent of thw whole South Sudan. But the fact is that the rebels have links in all departments and places of South Sudan. A survey by International Crisis Group puts the number of people displaced by war to 200,000.
